All Norris Arcade Sticks cases are specially designed to ensure the following joysticks will not only fit but
will be set at the arcade authentic mounting height when installed.
SEIMITSU JOYSTICKS: LS-32-01, LS-32 (when using an SS mounting plate), LS-40-01 (when using an SS mounting plate).
SANWA JLF PLATE
To install the JLF-TP-8T or the JLF-TP-8YT you will need the flat JLF-P1 mounting plate that comes
standard on the JLF-TP-8YT or JLF-TP-8Y
SANWA JLW PLATE
To install the JLW-TM-8 or the JLW-UM-8 you will need the mounting plate that comes
standard on these joysticks.
SEIMITSU "SS" STYLE PLATE
To install a Seimitsu joystick you need the SS "s-style" mounting plate that comes
standard on the LS-32-01 but not the LS-32 or LS-40-01. To install an
LS-32 or LS-40-01 you will need to buy separately, an SS plate.
To install the Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT or the JLF-TP-8T:
Place the complete joystick (plate and all) on top of the joystick recess on your control panel top
and insert the provided mounting screws. Next install the washer on the underside of the control
panel top and then the lock washer and finally the nut. Hand-tighten the nut and then further
tighten the screw from the top with a screwdriver.
To Install the Sanwa JLW-TM-8, JLW-UM-8, Seimitsu LS-32-01, LS-32 or LS-40-01(pictured):
Remove the ball top, unscrew and remove the SS-plate from your Seimitsu joystick base and place the
SS-plate on top of the joystick recess on your control panel top and install the provided mounting screws
through the top of the plate. Next install the washer on the underside of the control panel top and
then the lock washer and finally the nut. Hand-tighten the nut and then further tighten the screw from
the top with a screwdriver. After the plate is installed, hold the joystick base under
the mounting plate and using the screws that came with your joystick reattach the plate to the
joystick base. You can leave the ball top off until you have installed your art.
