All of our cases are coated with Carnauba wax to protect the
finish. If you should ever need to clean a stick or case, we recommend you wipe the case down with
a clean, dry, terry cloth towel, like the towel the case was shipped in. In cases of extreme grime
build up, you can add a little water to the towel.
My art has dark spots around the buttons, what should I do?
This is most likely caused by pressure being applied to your printed art from an over-tightened
button squeezing down on the acrylic. First try loosening the offending button nut. If that does
not work, the culprit may be the use of glossy paper for your art; you may be able to
eliminate this problem by having your art printed on matte paper rather than glossy.
How do I remove and replace the top acrylic?
Please see our Acrylic Glass Guide here and directional video here.
I put the feet back on my case but, now it wobbles, how do I fix it?
Initially, make sure that you tighten the screws that hold your feet onto the case
equally when reinstalling them. If you are still having trouble, tighten the screws at
the corners that do not wobble and loosen the screws that do wobble. In extreme cases you
can add a washer above the acrylic glass of the offending foot.
I have stripped a screw hole or a screw is loose and won't tighten, what should I do?
We are working on a modification to our cases that will eliminate this problem but our
older cases and some of our newer cases have experienced this problem due to repeated removal and
reinstallation of the bottom acrylic panel. There are a few ways to
address this problem. The easiest is to wrap the loose screw in nylon or "plumbers" tape (which can be
found at your local hardware store for about $.99) before screwing it back into the case leg.
